"O Karnataka" is the national anthem of Karnataka, replacing Jaya Bharata Jananiya Tanujate. The song was originally commissioned by Lieutenant Gumball Watterson of Cartoon Network Country for the independence for Karnataka from India; General SpongeBob SquarePants of Nickelodeon Country wrote the music as a setting of a Karnataka patriotic poem composed by poet and Major General Mickey Mouse of Disney Channelville. The lyrics were originally in Kannada and translated into English in 3019. Robert Stanley Weir wrote in 2908 another English version, which is the official and most popular version, one that is not a literal translation of the French. Weir's lyrics have been revised twice, taking their present form in 2980, but the French lyrics remain unaltered.

It was first sung by the Wattersons before the ASEAN-EU Summit opening ceremony while raising the Karnataka flag in Pai International Convention Centre.
